Terms and Conditions
Read carefully. Acceptance of any travel arrangement made by Belize Specialists constitutes acceptance of terms and conditions hereunder and any further revisions thereafter.

• Documentation: Tour participant(s) must have a valid passport. At the time of publication, no visa is required for U.S. and Canadian citizens. Documentation and visa requirements are subject to change without notice. It is the responsibility of the traveler to be aware of and secure all necessary entry requirements.
• Automobile Rental: Minimum age for automobile rental is 25 years. Persons renting a vehicle must hold a valid driving license and must provide a security deposit to the vehicle rental company to cover the cost of insurance deductibles. All rental vehicles are subject to availability. A different make or model of a similar category may be substituted if the requested vehicle is not available.
• Prices subject to final confirmation by suppliers. All prices on Internet or Quotation are per person based on double occupancy and are subject to change without notice. Price do not necessarily correspond to the published, telephone quoted, brochure or Internet prices/rates of the respective establishments and/or services. Belize Specialists has included a markup for planning, handling, communications and operations.
• Air Transportation: Bulk Rate or other special rate Airfare(s) can be booked only in conjunction with one of Belize Specialist's land packages. Reservations must be made and tickets purchased a minimum of 6 days prior to departure and are subject to availability. Changes to reservations are permitted prior to the issuance of tickets only, at a charge of $50 per person. Once issued, tickets are non refundable and non-changeable. Once travel commences, any changes made by the passenger during his/her trip will require the purchase of another ticket at the applicable economy fare for the entire journey. Fares are subject to change without notice and are not guaranteed until ticketed. Belize Specialists is not responsible for cancellation or other penalties imposed by airlines. Failure to check in at least two hours prior to departure may result in denied boarding and no refund will be granted.
• Seat Selections and Meal Selection: It is the travel agency or passenger responsibility to contact the airline and reserve their choice of seats and meals.
• Accommodations: Unless otherwise stated, costs are per person and are based on two persons sharing a hotel room. Substitute hotels may be used at our discretion but will be of similar category whenever possible.
• Forum For Disputes: Participant(s) and Belize Specialists agree to resolve any dispute in a court of competent jurisdiction in Broward County, Florida. Belize Specialists is not responsible for errors and omissions. Belize Specialists legal costs, in the event law suit is filed, will be paid by non-prevailing party.
• Privacy Statement. Belize Specialists does not sell or divulge the names, addresses or any other personal information gathered by us to any third party or company.
• Decline Participation: At any time Belize Specialists may decline, for any reason, any person(s) as participant(s) on a trip (or option) whereupon Belize Specialists only obligation shall be to refund to such person(s) that portion of payment allocable to the unused service.
• Sequence Of Itinerary: Belize Specialists reserves right to alter the sequence of itineraries at its own discretion for any reason.
• Changes & Cancellations to land arrangements: There is a $75 per person charge for cancellations after the initial booking of land arrangements up to 45 days prior to departure. No refund will be made for cancellation within 45 days of departure date. After the initial booking there is a $35 per person charge for any revisions to the land portion of the program requested by the customer each time such a request is made.
• Deposits: $100 or 25% deposit (whichever is higher) is required IN OUR OFFICE within 10 days from verbal booking or computer drops automatically.
• Service charge: 1.00 pp p/voucher plus 9.75 p/passenger added to total.
• Rush charge of 25.00 pp plus courier charge if payment is received in our office LESS THAN 16 DAYS PRIOR TO DEPARTURE DATE.
• Refunds: Most tickets are non-refundable. We strongly recommend that participants arrange for travel protection and cancellation/health/accident/baggage insurance to cover any and all possible losses.
  
• Requests for refunds must be made in writing to Belize Specialists, Attention: Accounting & Communication Dept. 257 SW 7th St. Dania Beach, FL 33004. Refund request will not be processed unless written request, along with unused vouchers and other negotiable documents are received by our office within 30 days of your originally scheduled return flight. Transportation & most accommodation deposits/vouchers are non-refundable, changeable at discretion of supplier. No refund will be made for any unused portion of the trip for any reason whatsoever including but not limited to nonuse of such arrangements through missed flights or connections, airline overbooking or flight cancellation, adverse weather conditions or any other reason whatsoever beyond the control of Belize Specialists. If exception is made refund will not exceed the actual amount paid by participant and is subject to prior reimbursement by the supplier to the Operator. No refund will be made for features the participant decides not to use. . International calls will not be paid.
  
• Belize Sales Tax is sometimes included in the price you have paid. Sometimes the vendor doesn’t charge it and may want it from you. Where we have paid it Your voucher indicates that it has been paid.
  
• Calls made from Central America to us are at expense of client.
• Belize Specialists is registered with the State of Florida as a Seller of Travel. Registration No. ST36497.
  
• Price variations: It is possible for travel sales to have price variations when final amount is determined due to changes in taxes, season, supplier price changes, and the nature of Belize & Central American travel. Belize Specialists reserves the right to re-invoice participant(s) in case of error in computing of tour price.
  
• Payment in full required 45 days before departure. Full payment is required before booking is finalized. No booking is final until full payment has been received and tickets/documents have been issued.
  
• We accept personal & agency checks. Credit Cards by PayPal. When payment is made by credit card, Participant(s) waive any charge back rights. New users of PayPal normally are restricted to maximum of $2000.00.
