A beautiful
seaside resort located just south of Hopkins Village, a quiet fishing
village on the Caribbean Coast of Belize. Located within minutes
of one of the largest coral barrier reefs in the world, it offers
some of the top diving & snorkeling tours available.
This romantic
seaside resort with European sophistication is nested on miles of
sandy beach, surrounded by a wilderness of rainforest, caves, magnificent
rivers, savannas, lagoons, mountains and waterfalls.
The lodge is
located near a number of Belize's national parks, Mayan Ruins, caves,
magnificent rivers, mountains and waterfalls; they are all within
easy reach. Belize's prime dive sites around the barrier reef are
less than 30 minutes by boat from the lodge.
International
flights land at "Philip Goldson International Airport".
From the International Airport a flight to Dangriga is required
to bring you within pickup distance of Pleasure Cove Lodge. Regular
scheduled flights are available. If you decide to rent a car, Belize
Specialists will offer you car rentals in Belize City.
The Resort
All rooms have
one queen-sized bed or two double beds with a sitting area and can
accommodate two people.
The suite has
a queen-sized bed with the addition of one futon sofa bed and can
accommodate up to four people.
All rooms are
air conditioned with private bath, and includes:
* coffee maker
* TV with DVD player
* clock radio/alarm
The Villa
For
a more secluded vacation try the Villa, complete with a Living room
and futon, Dining room, a full kitchen with stove, inside and outside
bathrooms, and one Bedroom with a King size bed.
The Villa has
all the comforts of home with contiguous access to the resort. Comforts
and amenities include a complete kitchen (i.e., stove, refrigerator,
microwave, and cupboards, etc.) a large Bedroom with King size bed,
a Living room with futon, a Dining room, an inside and outside bathroom,
and beach front access.
Amenities
The design of
the resort gives it an air of exclusivity, privacy and a guarantee
of excellent personalized service. The entire resort has one suite
(complete with a kitchen and living room with futon), five spacious
rooms, a luxury private villa, and restaurant overlooking the ocean
with both inside and outside dining.
It also includes
a bar, courtyard with swimming pool, and wrap-around covered walkway.
Each room has a queen or two double beds, a private bathroom with
glass wall shower, CD player and sitting area.
Meals
Breakfast, lunch
and dinner are prepared daily at the restaurant and can be served
either outside on the deck, in the open-air patio, or in the air-conditioned
indoor dining room - all with picturesque views of the Caribbean
Sea. There are also neighboring resorts with restaurants and bars
located on site. You have the option of dining out at a variety
of places or you may venture into the Village of Hopkins to experience
a typical Belizean meal.
Pool &
Beach
Situated on
the beach, Parrot Cove Lodge is the perfect Caribbean getaway. The
beachfront is ideal for lounging, and the proximity to the Barrier
Reef and atolls make diving and snorkeling accessible and convenient.
Hidden in the landscaped courtyard, the pool reflects the resort’s
intimate atmosphere of a private retreat. The waterfall tumbles
over a mosaic mural of playful dolphins, the perfect spot for relaxing
with a drink and a good book.
Resort Gear
Guests have
free use of our bicycles, kayaks, and snorkel gear (complimentary
snorkel, mask and fins when used on property).
The Village
of Hopkins is 1-1/4 miles away by road (exit right from our front
drive) and ride for approximately 10 -15 minutes. Easy riding! If
you need transportation into Hopkins Village, cab service is available.
