= ITINERARY =

Arrive and Transfer to San Pedro, Ambergris Caye - 4 Nights

DAY 1 - Arrive in Belize. Fly to Ambergris Caye. Pick up a golf-cart (next to airport) - check in and enjoy the island. Overnight at Banana Beach Resort

Banana Beach is located on the beach area of Ambergris Caye known as Mar De Tumbo. This is one of the best natural beach areas on the island. There is a natural break in the reef about a quarter mile off shore. This break allows ocean waves to flow in more freely. Therefore, deeper water and a sandier sea bed. Mar De Tumbo beach is south of San Pedro Town's edge about 3/4 of a mile. Just far enough from town for real tranquility.

Beach BBQ Dinner - Included - every Wednesday Evening.

Entree Choice: Chicken , Pork Chop, or Fresh Fish - served with Belizean Beans, Cole Slaw, Flour Tortilla, and "Pico De Gallo" (Spicy Onion Sauce) Choice of Key Lime Pie, Cheese Cake, or Flan. Soft Drink or Belikin Beer Not Included.

DAY 2 - Breakfast. 9am Snorkel Trip to Hol Chan Marine Reserve (An underwater national park)

DAY 3 - Breakfast. 9am - 4pm Jungle River Cruise to Altun Ha (Mayan Ruin)

27 Mile Jungle River Cruise to Ruins at Altun Ha, visit a Mayan Village, Photo Opportunity. See the Pyramids and Ceremonial Center, Watch for a Jabiru Stork with an 8 foot wingspan and 15 to 20 species of Orchids. After the ruins, have lunch (not included) at Maruba Jungle Spa, Nice Swimming Pool and Gardens. Colorful Parrots flying about. The Movie 'Mosquito Coast was filmed on this river . Pick up at your hotel Dock - 9am. Lunch and swim after the ruins - you will back in San Pedro by 445p

DAY 4 - Breakfast. Free Day.

Grand Mayan Buffet at Elvi's Kitchen - Every Friday 6p-830p - Music

Mayan Chicken,Chicken Pipian, Pork Pibil,Tenderoin with Mayan Spices, Coconut Fish, Tamalitos, Puchero, Mayan Rice, Plantain, Guacomole, Black Beans, Mayan Rice, Corn & Flour Tortillas made while you watch, "Pico De Gallo" (Spicy Onion Sauce, Yucca) Flan, Café de Olla. Free Tropical Drink

Transfer to Cayo District - 3 Nights

DAY 5 - Breakfast. Check out, return the golf-cart. Fly to Belize City. Get a 4 Wheel Drive Suzuki Samurai, Jimny, Isuzu Rodeo or similar car. It's nice to have some sort of "Ice Chest" (Walgreen's zipper vinyl type or we may provide something). Ice is easy to get. Buy mangoes, oranges, avocados, sodas, beer or whatever for a snack when you want. (No McDonald's or Burger Kings anywhere) Take the Western Highway to the Cayo District. You can see the Zoo if you want. Time permitting, you can visit the spots shown in the links below.

Overnight (o/n) at DuPlooy's Beautiful Cayo location, with overcanopy walkway for excellent birding (Over 300 species!) and jungle watching. On the Macal River with a sandy beach for swimming and sunning. Canoes, horserides, and trails to enjoy from the property. On-site bird and botanical guides. Onsite massage and spa services. Trips to nearby caves, waterfalls, Maya sites, nature centers and more. Great food served by friendly staff. Next door to Belize Botanic Gardens.

DAY 6 - Free day. O/N DuPlooy's.

DAY 7- - Free day. O/N DuPlooy's.

DAY 8 - Drive to Belize International Airport. Return Car. Flight home.
