Why go to Belize via Cancun?

As Cancun has developed to an International Tourist destination, there are numerous flights from all over the world. As a result, the airfare to Cancun is significantly less expensive compared to flying into Belize. Belize is about 207 miles south of Cancun. One way to get to the border of Belize is by "Executive bus". To the border town, Chetumal, it takes 5 hours and 30 minutes.
