1 - Take taxi from airport to Water Taxi Station
(to Ambergris Caye -- about 90 minutes). Hotel is located about
200 - 300 yards from the airport. Check in and enjoy the island.

At night...
check out the
Chicken Drop or
the Crab Races. There may be a big event in this
town with Packed Sand Streets and Golf Carts instead of
cars. You might see a volleyball game - 'free' between
the Electric Company and the Phone Company - narrated
by the island high school principal with cake and BBQ
chicken supplied by the parents' or the kids. On Sundays
there may be a wedding celebration spilling over into
the 'street' when church gets out Take a bike and check
out the Island. o/n San Pedro.
