Banana Beach is located on the beach area of Ambergris Caye known as Mar De Tumbo. This is one of the best natural beach areas on the island. There is a natural break in the reef about a quarter mile off shore. This break allows ocean waves to flow in more freely. Therefore, deeper water and a sandier sea bed. Mar De Tumbo beach is south of San Pedro Town's edge about 3/4 of a mile. Just far enough from town for real tranquility.

All suites have full kitchen and living room area; equipped with air conditioning, two or more ceiling fans, cable TV, direct dial telephone, and safe. Furnished with locally made Rattan furniture, decorated with ceramic art and hand woven tapestries from the Yucatan. The two, three and four bedroom suites have Jacuzzi bathtubs.

Kitchens are supplied with cooking utensils, plates, glasses, appliances including a microwave oven, stove, coffee maker and refrigerator. Included in the living room furnishings is a Queen size sleeper sofa or Futon. Additional Twin size beds can be added to any suite if needed.

The Ocean Front suites have Private Ocean Front Balconies, King size beds and kitchen/living room area.

The Courtyard suites have Queen size beds, small side Balconies and kitchen/living room area.

Banana Beach offers a 30-day minimum long term rental in Banana Beach apartments. Swimming pool access, beach access, and night security are all included and provided. The apartments are available with utilities included or if preferred, utilities can be metered and paid separately.
