Opportunity - Cold Fruit. See the Pyramids and Ceremonial Center,
Watch for a Jabiru Stork with an 8-foot wingspan and 15 to 20
species of Orchids. After the ruins, have lunch (not included)
at Maruba Jungle Spa, Horseback Riding if desired (Not Included),
Nice Swimming Pool and Gardens. Colorful Parrots flying about.
Monkeys running around. The Movie 'Mosquito Coast was filmed on
this river. Pick up at your hotel Dock. 9am. You will back in
San Pedro by about 4:30 - 5 pm.

Experience
9 am - 4 pm:
Adventure to unknown Manatee colonies. Share the world with these
friendly creatures. On the return, stop at Goff's Caye or check
out the dolphins on the back side of Turneffe Island. Maybe you
can see them turn over a lobster traps to 'free' the lobster and
catch it for a quick meal. On the return, stop at Sargeants Caye
or another island. While you snorkel, observe the colorful fish
and interesting coral. Your Captain or one of his mates will prepare
the Belizean Picnic Lunch (typically Chicken Rice, Beans, Salad)
on a deserted tropical islands. Sodas & Ice provided. Next
you normally do a snorkel visit to 'Shark Alley' & 'Stingray
Village'.

to Belize City. Assign Driver and pick up 15 passenger Van
(Some bring along some sort of "Ice Chest" (Walgreen's
zipper vinyl type or we may provide something). Ice is easy to
get. Buy mangoes, oranges, avocados, sodas, beer or whatever for
a snack when you want. (No McDonald's or Burger Kings anywhere.)
Take the Western Highway to the Cayo District.
See the
Belize Zoo and the Inland
Blue Hole (aka Blue
Hole National Park) and Saint Herman's Cave. (May still
time for canoeing or riding horses.)

Caving Expedition
5 Miles on
an Underground River/Cave Trip by Tube or in Canoe. The
Maya Have Used These Caves for Thousands Of Years, Expert Guide,
Lunch, 9a - 4p - Miner Type Head Lamp Provided So you can observe
the Mayan symbols etched or painted on the walls fifteen hundred
years ago. You may see a cave with skeletal remains of Mayan ancestors.
