Transfer
to Cayo District - 3 Nights
DAY
1 - Dinner. Lodge transfer from Belize City to Cayo (Belmopan).
Banana
Bank Lodge: Located on the Belize River, central
to the country as a whole & surrounded by evidence of the
ancient Maya and the historic logging tradition, basic to Belize
culture. 4,000 acres, half of which is PRIMARY GROWTH
RAINFOREST. See and feel the true character and nature of
Belize.
Family
style meals. GOOD FOOD. Lots of of activities: state of the
art Equestrian Center (all levels of horseback riding and
learning), day trips to Mayan ruins, caves, canoeing, star gazing,
trail walks, birding. SEE THE PET JAGUAR NAMED TIKA.
Overnight
Banana Bank Lodge.

2
- Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
River Caving Expedition - 5 Miles of underground
river/cave trip. Tubing or in canoe. The maya have used these
caves for thousands of years, expert guide, lunch, 9am
- 4pm - miner type Head Lamp provided. You can observe
the Mayan symbols etched or painted on the walls fifteen
hundred years ago. You may see a cave with skeletal remains
of Mayan ancestors. Sometimes the cave trip is by canoe instead
of tubing. (*The
